The College Park Community Foundation (CPCF) will open it’s next grant application in July 2015. If you are a nonprofit or charitable organization serving College Park, we invite you attend our grant workshop on Wednesday, August 5, 7:00 p.m. at the Old Parish House (4711 Knox Road). At the workshop, we will review the details of the RFP, identify grant writing best practices, and work with potential applicants to identify viable projects that meet the goals of our grant program.
Organizations which may be interested in applying for grant funding or would like to reserve a spot at our workshop should fill out this short questionnaire: http://goo.gl/forms/JCSydsyxvI.
CPCF is a component fund of the Community Foundation of the National Capital Region. Our grantmaking philosophy rests on two principles: sustainability and accountability. CPCF grants are intended to build the capacity of nonprofit organizations to provide services in College Park. Criteria for projects looks at how the proposed use of funds will improve the organization’s long-term viability. Our board works closely with you before and after award to ensure that the funds spent support these goals.
We expect the full grant package for the 2015 application to be available in July 2015. In the meantime, you can visit our grants page to get more information about our grant process and previous grantees.
