Tree Planting Event

Anacostia Tree Planting Event
Saturday, May 31st, 2014
9 a.m. to Noon

USDA Beltsville Agricultural
Research Center
Near the Intersection of Center Rd and
Powder Mill Rd in Beltsville, MD

  • Come Plant Trees in the Beaverdam Creek Watershed (USDA/BARC property)
  • We will be planting more than 100 native trees and shrubs (holes will be pre-dug)
  • Gain Community service hours!
  • No experience necessary

Meeting Location: Center Road parking lot (click for map). A caravan will depart from this parking lot to the planting location. Parking is available near the planting site. See flier for details and directions.

We would like to hear from you how we can facilitate and support collaboration among College Park nonprofit and service organizations. Refreshments will be provided.
